JULY ’25 NEWS – Friday July 11th sees another of our local community valuation days, this time in Southowram and at St Anne’s Church Community Centre, from 6.30pm till 9. Our next auction date is also in the diary for 27th July, which for us for the first time, will be a specialist Vinyl/LP/Records/Music Sale!

JANUARY ’25 NEWS – We will be hosting a couple of valuation days with myself and Jon across the first fortnight on 2025, initially with St Thomas in Greetland plus a few others in Holmfirth, in addition to another day in Haworth to be confirmed across the second week of January 2025!

DECEMBER ’24 NEWS – So our final sale of the year is now done and dusted on 1st December – a brilliant affair for both Gold Sovereign, Antique Gold Mourning ring, and Retro Video Game hunters alike – thank you to all of our customers and sellers/vendors for making this last event such a good one!

We did our bit for local charities this month, with a large £150+ donation worth of As-New Teddy Bears, to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale’s Children Wards as you can see from the below photograph, plus hosting a charity stall at St Annes Community Centre fundraising day in Morley, raising over £100 towards their Resource Centre for homeless people in Leeds City Centre (photo below of Sally and Jennifer).

Our next auction sale is now into 2025 on 26th January, but looks very good so far, with Mouseman (Robert Thompson Yorkshire Oak), Liberty of London, a great collection of 1950’s/60’s Rock & Roll memorabilia + a Seeburg 50’s Jukebox, as well as another great range of jewellery and some lovely antiques, collectables and choice pieces of quality furniture!

OCTOBER ’24 NEWS – So, our next auction sale is coming up on the horizon on Sunday 3rd November – the 29/09 auction was a bit of a 50/50 overall, but from a positive perspective the two higher end items from that sale, namely the Dusty Springfield rarity, plus the Rolex Submariner wristwatch, both actually went post-sale, at inclusive prices of £5,370 and £9,300, so that was great news for those respective vendors.

Our 3rd November sale will have another great array of collectables, antiques and jewellery pieces, so please do make sure that whether you be buying from, or selling within that catalogue sale, that you keep yourselves posted in advance of the catalogue launch during the Halloween week.

SEPTEMBER ’24 NEWS – Our 1st September sale was an interesting one with the draw being a Yorkshire record for an auction sale of an Albert Bravery medal set, at £8,800 – highlighting again as with the Rolex £53k record that we hold, our undoubted position as one of the best auctioneers in West Yorkshire. Our next date for the Autumn is 29th September, no doubt another great range of goods on the horizon to take us into our last three catalogues of 2024!

MAY ’24 NEWS – Following a move to 2nd June for our next sale of 2024, there’s now a few more weeks in the diary for people to get their consignments over to us before we cut-off for this auction phase – more Mouseman, more Jewellery and Vintage toys in for this sale, so should be another interesting one!

JANUARY 2024 NEWS – All the best to everyone for a Happy New Year and a great 2024 – our first sale is due on Sunday 28th January (moved ahead seven days from 21/01), and preceding that, we’re hosting another local church valuation day, this time in Almondbury, at All Hallow’s Church, on Sat 13th Jan.. Hope to see some new faces there, as well as throughout the Spring across our range of sales from now until the end of March..

OCTOBER 2023 NEWS – we were proud to host another valuation day earlier on in October, Saturday 28th, at Meltham’s St Bartholomew’s Church, to help out Crossroad’s Charity, and one of their lead volunteers’ Liz Rogan (pictured below), with adding a little bit of a different scope and feel to their regular weekend coffee mornings!
